S-Message facilitates the sending and receiving of facsimile, telex ande-mail messages from a multi-user SPARC-based platform. The productconsists of software and a modem, and can be used by any system onceinstalled on the network.S-Message handles all queuing of messages and routing to the correctport, as well as notifying users of any error conditions when sending amessage. It will also retry a filed job after a small wait. Queues can bechecked to find the status of messages, and all messages are archived forlater reference. Messages can be sent to nicknames and actual addresses,or they may be broadcast to any number of destinations.S-Message features cover pages and signature blocks for sending FAXes.Incoming e-mail and TELEX messages can be routed to a user, and FAXescan be routed to any support printer.
